We finally got enough boxes put away we could start decorating our new apartment.... we would love to get in a house, but right now we are just waiting, praying, and saving money. (o:

Stracks Visit WV!

We were so excited to have our first visitors to our new home! Michael's family drove from Illinois to visit us in the wild and wonderful WV! We saw a lot of the beautiful creation that God made for us and had an awesome time visiting with his mom, dad, and sister!

We even went "rafting" in PA! It was a blast!

funny story...

July 2009

... friday night we were over at a friends and i teased michael that he had not bought me flowers in a while. that next morning i woke up to see these beautiful flowers and a SUPER sweet note from my hubby. (i felt a little guilty like i had guilted him into getting them...) so i asked... and he told me that he had ordered them friday during the day BEFORE i ever teased him!!!! He is SO sweet and always seems to know what i need before i even know! these were so beautiful that made me smile so big! i am blessed!!!

It was fun to celebrate the fourth with some good friends here in WV! It was so interesting to see the fireworks over the mountain peaks!

I had such an great experience designing Carrie's wedding day dreams!

Actually I gave her exactly what she said she didn't want... but LOVED in the end! haha! If you know us at all... its awesome because as the little sister to Carrie, it was great to give her something that SHE didn't even know she wanted!

What a blessing it was to be a part of Carrie and Eric's wedding! God does answer prayers!
We have prayed for a long time for someone to come and sweep Carrie off her feet, and Eric was up to the task! Welcome to the family my new brother-in-law!

Another huge things was Michael performed the wedding ceremony! He did an amazing job if I can say so myself! (o:

It was inspiring to see God at work in their wedding ceremony. One great testimony of the day is that Eric and Carrie saved themselves in purity for this very day! What an amazing testimony of not only their commitment to God, but also to each other before they even knew who they would marry!
