ER - October 2011

We survived our first trip to the ER.

Lila was playing with her cousins and fell off the bed upstairs. Thankfully Michael was right there and swept her up and consoled her. Unfortunately she refused to walk on it. We gave her some motrin and all the action wiped her out. We were pretty sure she didn't have a concussion so we let her sleep and woke up to see if she would forget and try to walk again. She didn't so I called a local (meaning 20mins+ away) urgent care and they said they closed at 7... phew! we arrived right at 6:30pm. However they had the nerve to tell me that they stopped taking patients at 6:30... but didn't bother to tell me that on the phone. ARGH.

Anyways... are only resort was the ER... so this is our first trip to the ER... and if she is anything like her daddy... I fear we will be visiting the ER a few more times in her life.

She has her milk, froggie, paci, baby, and mawmaw's quilt... all good company for a little girl in the hospital.

Praise the Lord... not broken bones or fractures. Because it did take her over a week to walk on it, the doctor does think she potentially pulled a muscle in her hip. Poor girl.

Grateful that she is all ok!
